Assistant Professor at Department of Materials Science - University of Milano-Bicocca
Via Roberto Cozzi, 55, 20125 Milano MI
I graduated in MSc in Chemistry Science and Technology in 2015 and received the PhD in Materials Science in 2019 from the University of Bicocca-Milano, Italy. After gaining experience as a consultant for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at ApiTech, an italian startup supporting innovation in SMEs, I returned to academia as a postdoctoral researcher at the Surface Engineering and Fluid Interfaces Laboratory (SEFI Lab), led by Prof. Antonini. Here, I worked as project manager of SURFICE, an ITN-MSCA project on material surface design for ice protection, coordinating a network of 13 PhD students across Europe and a consortium of 10 institutions. In 2025, I became Assistant Professor, focusing my research on coatings and sustainable materials, especially on polysaccharides. My interests also include science communication and the sociological dimensions of the scientific practice.
I am currently teaching the following courses (see link to the elearning platforms):
· Engineered Nanomaterials (MSc, 2nd year, 1st semester)

· General Chemistry and Laboratory (1st year B.Sc. in Materials Science)
Previously:
2017, 2018 Laboratory Assistant in General and Inorganic Chemistry (1st year B.Sc. in Materials Science)
2016 Laboratory Assistant in Inorganic Chemistry I (2nd year B.Sc. Science Chemistry and Technology)
